Freezing Whale Watching Experience – Sydney

whale watching
Haha, let me tell you, I had such a freezing whale watching experience but still enjoyed it a lot! When we booked that trip for that specific day with my friends, the forecast showed the weather was going to be sunny. Well, when the day came, it wasn’t… It was raining most of the time and wind didn’t help. The sun gave us one or two greetings behind the clouds, but it was all we got from it during that boat trip 😀

Something To Remember Before Whale Watching

I was emotionally so excited to see some whales that I felt like crying of happiness (or maybe that time of the month had something to do with it.. girl problems for sure haha). The waves were huge and therefore two of my friends started to feel sea-sick already at the beginning of our trip. It didn’t take a long time before we spotted some dolphins swimming and jumping next to our boat. It was breathtaking! When I saw those beautiful creatures, I forgot the weather conditions right away. Finally, after a while, we saw a whale! A WHALE! There were only a few short moments of seeing those big miracles from the far, but I was happy to experience it.

Great Memories

I felt so grateful while we were going back from the ocean to the shore. Even the weather was awful, we spotted some whales and even dolphins. The crew members of the boat were such lovely people and making sure everyone was ok during the trip. We got our tickets here! And what a great group of positive girls I got to experience whale watching with, we just couldn’t stop laughing how wet our clothes were at the end of our trip 😀

Unfortunately, I didn’t get any photos of whales but the harbour view was lovely!  I might go for another whale watching trip and hope the weather will be better, hehe.

I wish you a great week! 🙂
